Ball State University's Cultural Identities & Community Engagement immersive learning course students will host a Talking Race Human Library at Carnegie Library on Saturday, April 27, 2-5pm. A "Human Library" is an event that aims to create dialogue and understanding between people. Individuals volunteer as human "books" and participants can then "read" the book by holding a one-on-one conversation with the volunteer as they share in a dialog about that volunteer's experience. This event's Books will share their experiences with race and racism. Dr. Ruby Cain is the course instructor.
